Floyd Mayweather, Kim Kardashian and Paul Pierce sued for cryptocurrency fraud

Three American celebrities have become involved in the EthereumMax digital currency fraud case. They, as well as a number of businessmen, are accused of making false or misleading statements regarding the token.

According to a class action lawsuit filed in the US District Court for the Central District of California, ex-basketball player Paul Pierce, boxer Floyd Mayweather and model Kim Kardashian advertised the cryptocurrency to sell it after the price rally.

Plaintiffs allege that EthereumMax is a speculative coin created by an unknown group of developers. The token value is $ 0.0000000168 and the market cap is about $ 25.6 million.

Floyd Mayweather advertised EthereumMax last summer during a duel with blogger Logan Paul. Cryptocurrency developers were listed among the fight sponsors.

Kim Kardashian on Instagram called on subscribers (audience - 278 million users) join the EthereumMax community. In turn, Paul Pierce on Twitter last spring wrote that with the help of cryptocurrency he earned more in a month than "in a year with all of you."
