Samsung sold fewer smartphones in China than Wiko in the third quarter

Chaodian Think Tank published statistics of the Chinese smartphone market in the third quarter of 2023. Honor and Apple became the only companies that were able to sell more than 10 million devices.

Here's What We Know

Honor controls 21% of the market. The company sold 11.6 million smartphones during the third quarter of 2023. Apple with a 19% share (almost 10.74 million devices) took the 2nd place, and OPPO closed the three. The share of the Chinese company was 15% (8.14 million units).

We want note Wiko's 9th place. It took 0.7% of the market and managed to bypass Samsung and realme, which have 0.6% each. Motorola, ZTE and ASUS together control just over 0.1% of the market.
