The head of OnePlus hints at the release of a foldable smartphone

This week several foldable models appeared on the smartphone market: Samsung Galaxy Flip 4 and Fold 4, Xiaomi Mix Fold 2, Motorola Razr 2022. And now, it seems, OnePlus is preparing to compete with them.

What we know

At least that's what OnePlus CEO and co-founder Pete Lau is hinting at. He posted a few photos on social media with the caption, "What do you think this is?"

These show the hinge mechanism of the phone. Perhaps it could be used in a future foldable OnePlus model. Unfortunately, Pete Lau didn't reveal any details, so we're left to speculate.

Hopefully, this will be the original OnePlus smartphone and not a clone of the OPPO Find N (photo).
