Finally, WhatsApp is testing HD quality photo sharing on the latest Beta version of iPhone ( 23.11.0.76 ) and Android ( 2.23.12.13 ) limited to some testers. ????

To send the picture in high resolution one would need to click on the HD button and select an appropriate quality. It is important to note that while the picture size is retained, compression is still applied to the image.
When We Can Expect It
It is not yet known when the innovation will be available for all users.
