Acer announced the Predator X45 gaming monitor with a curved matrix at CES 2023 in January. It went on sale about eight months after the premiere. But now the model is available at a discount.

Here's What We Know

As the name makes clear, the Acer Predator X45 has a diagonal of 45". The monitor is equipped with a curved OLED panel with a radius of curvature of 800R. The resolution of the display is 3440 x 1440 pixels, the aspect ratio is 21 to 9 and the frame refresh rate is 240Hz.

According to the manufacturer, the Acer Predator X45 has a response time of 0.3ms (GtG), a contrast ratio of 1,500,000:1 and a peak brightness of 1,000 nits. The company also claims support for AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and NVIDIA G-SYNC.

To connect gaming consoles and computers, the monitor is equipped with two HDMI 2.0 and one DisplayPort 1.4. In addition, the arsenal of new products has 5W stereo speakers, two USB-A ports and one USB-C with support for 90W fast charging via USB Power Delivery protocol.

The Acer Predator X45 costs $1600 in the US, which is $100 cheaper than the company announced earlier. In Europe, you can buy the new monitor for €1800.
