Users have access to Apple's diagnostic software to repair appliances

Apple has expanded its Self Service Repair programme. Now users can use the diagnostic software of the American company for self-repair of equipment.

Here's What We Know

Previously, you could use diagnostic software either in authorised service centres or in Apple Stores. Access to the software will simplify troubleshooting.

The diagnostic software, called Apple Diagnostics, will allow users to test individual device components. For now, the software is only available in the US, but will be available in Europe next year.

The expansion of Self Service Repair has not been limited to opening up access to Apple Diagnostics. The company has expanded the programme to include M2 chip-based computers and iPhone 15 smartphones. In addition, the programme now covers 25 Apple products and is available in 33 countries, including 24 in Europe.
