Insider: Respawn Entertainment is working on a new game based on the Titanfall universe, but it won't be Titanfall 3

On the Giant Bomb podcast, Jeff Grubb revealed that Respawn Entertainment is still working on Titanfall, but it won't be a full-fledged third instalment.
Grubb is not ready to reveal specific details yet, but believes that it will be some kind of spin-off, similar to Apex Legends.
It's worth remembering that the events of the popular online shooter are unfolding in the Titanfall universe, so the developers may release another game with a similar concept. According to Grubb's information, Steve Fukuda, the game director of both parts of Titanfall, is responsible for the creation of the new project.

Recall, Electronic Arts recently cancelled the first-person shooter based on Star Wars, which was Respawn Entertainment, but work on the strategy on this franchise continues.
