Gamescom will show 30+ games, including Sonic Frontiers and a new project from the authors of Subnautica

The opening ceremony of gamescom will take place on August 23rd. Event host Geoff Keighley announced that more than 30 games will be shown on that day.

Expect the following news:

• "Sonic Frontiers" demo.
• Announcement and gameplay of the new sci-fi game franchise from Unknown Worlds Studios, of Subnautica fame.
• The opening ceremony will start on August 23 at 19:00 (Germany live) and will last for two hours.

The main part of gamescom 2022 will be held from August 24 to 28. Among other things there will be Homeworld 3 demonstration and a fresh edition of Future Games Show.

On Tuesday, August 23, @gamescom Opening Night Live streams LIVE from Germany.
