CD Projekt CFO: Up to 500 employees will participate in the development of a new game in the Cyberpunk universe

CD Projekt CFO Piotr Nielubowicz during a conversation with investors revealed preliminary plans for the development of Orion - a new game in the Cyberpunk 2077 universe.

According to him, the game is planned to involve from 350 to 500 employees, which will include both people who previously worked on the previous part, and new employees. By the way, the CD Projekt RED website has already begun to place vacancies for a variety of positions.

The development of Orion will take place in a specially created for this project new studio CD Projekt Red North America in Boston. There will arrive a team of specialists from the Polish office, including the leading quest designer Cyberpunk 2077 Paweł Sasko (Paweł Sasko). In the development will take part and Vancouver division of CD Projekt, opened last year.

Piotr Nelubowicz assures that the CD Projekt team drew conclusions from the work on Cyberpunk 2077 and its unsuccessful release, and in the future will not repeat the mistakes. Work on the game will only begin after the release of the add-on Phantom Liberty for Cyberpunk. 2077, which is scheduled for 2023.
