Xbox Games Pass in 2022 offered gamers 220 new games worth more than $7,000

Microsoft has added 220 new games to the Xbox Game Pass subscription in 2022. The total cost in prices for the U.S. market, not including discounts, was almost $7174.
Here's What We Know
Microsoft added the most games (almost 31%) in the third quarter - 22 in July, 21 in August and 25 in September. They were $561, $705 and $539, respectively.
The hottest month was December. Only 11 new projects worth $315 were added to the game library.
The Loadout did a similar tally for 2021. Then Microsoft added games to the Xbox Game Pass subscription totaling about $6320. It's also worth noting that Sony's 2022 PlayStation Plus Essential subscription offered 37 games worth $1305.
