CD Projekt has confirmed: the disc version of The Witcher 3 Next-gen for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series will indeed be released and will be available in many countries

Yesterday we reported that in the Polish online store Ultima.pl appeared the page of the physical version of the updated RPG The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

However, it was not clear whether this is an exclusive offer of the Polish studio for Polish gamers, or the disc edition will be available worldwide.

Well, now everything is in its place. The authoritative Insider Gaming portal has received an official explanation from CD Projekt.

Here's What We Know

The Witcher 3 Next-gen for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series will indeed be released on disc at the end of January, the game will be available to gamers around the world. The edition will include all the released for almost eight years content, including major story additions Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine and minor DLC.

The developer explained that the cost and availability of such an edition depends on the retailers.
