"We will not be intimidated!": S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 : Heart of Chornobyl developers refused to comply with Russian hackers' demands
Today a group of Russian attackers made absurd demands to the developers of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl.
In case of their failure, the hackers threaten to leak dozens of gigabytes of information about the game into the network.
Here's What We Know
The response from the GSC Game World studio was not long in coming.
Ukrainian game designers categorically refused to comply with the hackers' demands and called on fans of the franchise to ignore any leaked materials.
The developers confirmed that one of the work computers had been hacked, and some of the game's information found its way to Russian cybercriminals.
The GSC Game World team stressed that such threats do not scare them, especially against the background of what the Ukrainians have been going through since the full-scale invasion of their country by the occupying Russian troops.
The developers urge subscribers to GSC Game World's official social media pages and to trust only verified information.
