Offended people: Russian community leaks 16 GB of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 files and shows world map, plot description, art and other details

We wrote that on VKontakte, the community "The Herald of the Same Stalker" issued an ultimatum to GSC Game World and threatened to leak tens of gigabytes of information about S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 if the developers did not apologise for their actions (i.e. their pro-Ukrainian stance). Later, the game's authors published an official statement making it clear that they did not care and thanked those who supported the studio in difficult times. The Russians did not like this response, and the materials about the game were leaked.

Here's What We Know

The community published two links with 16 GB of files. It leaked the world map, artwork, game plot, a lot of working materials and other information that should not have fallen into the hands of attackers.

The gg editorial team will not publish a link to the archive with the files and describe in detail what can be found there. However, it is important to warn that spoilers for the game can now be found on social networks and forums, so you need to be careful. GSC Game World has not commented on this data leak, but all that remains is to support the studio and wait for the full release of the game.

When We Can Expect It

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl is scheduled for release in 2023 on PC and Xbox Series X/S. The game will be immediately available in the Xbox Game Pass library.
