Developers of Alan Wake II have revealed Saga Anderson, who will be the second protagonist of the new mystery thriller
Remedy Studios has released the first episode of their video diary on the process of working on the mystical thriller Alan Wake II.

The debut episode focuses on the new character Saga Anderson, who will become a full-fledged protagonist, on par with Alan Wake.
The developers said that the addition of Saga to the narrative allowed them to reflect not only the events taking place in the Dark Place, where the unsuccessful writer is stuck after the twists and turns of the first part, but also outside of it - in and around the town of Bright Falls. Plus, having a heroine will make the story easier to understand for those who aren't familiar with the previous Alan Wake installment.
FBI detective Saga Anderson storyline starts from the moment she arrives to Bright Falls to investigate ritualistic murders, then she gets interested in the story of missing writer Alan Wake, and what happens next - we'll see in the game.
The role of Saga is played by actress Melanie Liburd. In order to be more consistent, the image of the game's heroine was adjusted to the appearance of the actress.
When We Can Expect It
Alan Wake II will be released on October 17, 2023 on PC (Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
