Valve has released a major update to Steam: improved interface, changed notifications and new overlay features

Valve has released a major update to the desktop version of its Steam digital service.

Here's What We Know

The developers have added options that have successfully passed beta testing and have been well received by the public.

Among the innovations and updates:

• The Steam client, Big Picture mode and Steam Deck software code has been changed, allowing for major improvements in the future;
• Improved Steam's interface and user-friendliness;
• Additional notification settings have been added, making notifications more informative and visible;
• Major changes have been made to the in-game overlay, users can now dock images and text labels on top of the game;
• Improved controller support.
