Electronic Arts chief: next Battlefield instalment will be a reimagining of the popular shooter series

As part of a financial report and subsequent conversation with investors, Electronic Arts CEO Andrew Wilson focused on the future of the Battlefield franchise.

Here's What We Know

The EA executive stated that the next instalment of the popular shooter series will be a "reimagining of Battlefield".

What exactly is meant by this phrase - is not quite clear, but most likely, this wording means a systematic review of the approach to the development of all subsequent parts of Battlefield.

It should be noted that such changes were prompted by the failed release of Battlefield 2042.
