Bruce Willis has sold the rights for his "face" to the American firm Deepcake, or to be more precise, to create his "digital twin".

Details

Deepfake is a technology for realistic spoofing of photographs, audio and video, created with the help of neural networks. Often it is not used with good intentions, but in Hollywood, deepfakes make it possible to "resurrect" deceased actors in films. For example, the technology was used in the Star Wars spin-offs to recreate young actors' personalities.

Unfortunately, this now applies to Bruce to some extent. The 67-year-old Willis recently announced the end of his acting career due to illness. He was diagnosed with aphasia, a condition that causes speech difficulties. People with aphasia have trouble reading, speaking or writing. Now the actor can return to the screens, albeit with the help of a deepfake.
