Morena Baccarin shares fresh details about the filming of "Deadpool 3" and promises a "reimagined" relationship between Vanessa and Wade
Since her debut in the first film, Vanessa has quickly become a beloved character in the world of Deadpool. Her uniqueness lies not only in her wit, but also in her relationship with Wade, which reveals a more vulnerable side to this professional assassin.

It is now known that the beloved character will appear in Deadpool 3, although initially, Morena Baccarin, who plays the role of Vanessa, couldn't come to an agreement with the studio.
Now that things have settled down and the actress' filming days are over, she has had time to talk a little about her involvement in the plot of the threequel and hinted that the third instalment will revisit the relationship between Vanessa and Wade:
"I think it’s really cool that they are such well-met characters and that their lives... You can see them in and out of each other’s lives constantly. The comic, it’s the same way. So I think that the franchise and Ryan and the director, they’ve done a really great job of always reinventing that relationship and making it interesting, but maintaining the core thing that keeps them always coming back to each other. So I think there’s a little bit more of that in this film. My work is finished on the film."
Rumour has it that the heroine was prevented from dying in part two so that she could be transformed into the comic book superheroine, Copicat. Rhett Reese, the franchise's screenwriter, previously hinted at such a move after he and screenwriter Paul Wernick, changed the end of the sequel by bringing Vanessa back to life instead of leaving her dead.
This could also provide an opportunity for a deeper exploration of Vanessa and Wade's desire to start a family together.
Since Baccarin has already finished filming the film, it remains unclear what role she will play in the third instalment, but her return is likely to be an exciting moment for fans of the first two Deadpool films.
