Google has confirmed that all Pixel 9 models will use UFS 3.1 memory instead of the faster UFS 4.0. The decision came as a surprise, as UFS 3.1 is typically used in mid-range smartphones to keep costs down, while flagship devices are equipped with more modern standards.
