Google is pushing ahead with its merger of Duo and Meet, albeit not quite as smoothly as some may desire. Google will rename the Duo app for Android and iOS to Meet, complete with a video calling-centric logo. Many of Meet's features had already been transferred. For now, at least, the old Meet application will be rebranded "Google Meet (original)."
