Nothing Phone (1) got an open beta of Nothing OS 1.5 based on Android 13

Nothing has launched an open beta testing of the Android 13 operating system on the Nothing Phone smrathon (1).

Here's What's New About It

The firmware received the Nothing OS 1.5 shell and many innovations. For example, the updated "Weather" app, improved Material You themes, QR-code scanner, Live caption function for video, new volume control interface and multimedia. The new version boasts up to 50% faster opening speed.

The Nothing developers also worked on the security and privacy of the device.

By the way, the testing of the new OS will last until the beginning of 2023. The stable firmware version should be released in January-February.
