Microsoft has added a "Make Everything Awesome" key to Windows 11 keyboards (yes, it's the Copilot key)

Microsoft believes that 2024 will be a pivotal year for the computer industry, namely for Windows 11 PCs. The company announced the release of a new Copilot key on PC keyboards. This innovation should simplify the use of computers and make it more intuitive and versatile for each user (although it is not yet clear how this simplification will take place and whether it will take place at all). This is the first change to the Windows keyboard in 30 years, and Microsoft is confident that this is the beginning of the era of AI PCs.

The new Copilot feature will be available on Windows 11 PCs and will allow users to discover new possibilities thanks to artificial intelligence. According to Microsoft, people will now be able to quickly and easily access information, create and edit content (something they probably couldn't do before 2024), work with media, analyse data, and much more. Here are some practical applications of Copilot offered by the company:

  • Information search: One of Copilot's main features is its advanced search. Thanks to AI algorithms, Copilot helps users find the data they need, answers to questions, and solutions to problems. Users don't need to spend a lot of time searching - "just click" the Copilot key and get everything you need.
  • Productivity at work: Copilot also helps you plan and process tasks. It gives you tips and suggestions on the best strategies, helps you create a schedule, reminds you of deadlines, and highlights your priorities. With Copilot, your work will become more efficient and organised.
  • Creativity and media: If a user works with media content such as photos, video, or audio, Copilot "will become an indispensable assistant. It will provide the best settings for editing and processing, help you choose the most creative approach, and realise your creative vision (gg has some doubts about this point).
  • Personal and household support: Copilot is a personal advisor that helps you customise your computer to your needs. It provides recommendations for personalised settings and performance optimisation. With Copilot, the user can turn their PC into "the perfect tool for your work and play" (nothing in the world is perfect).

All we have to do is wait for this "new era" (long overdue) and finally fulfil the dream of all mankind - we have that one button that will make our work one click away (not really).
