The developers of Cities Skylines 2 have announced the first set of DLC and will add support for custom modifications to the game

One of the main complaints of gamers to the city-building strategy Cities Skylines 2 is the lack of official support for custom modifications, which was an integral part of the community of fans of the previous game.

Already next week the developers from Paradox Interactive and Colossal Order will fix this shortcoming.

Here's What We Know

Game designers announced the first set of DLC for Cities Skylines 2. It will be called Beach Properties and will provide gamers with new buildings, which will be mainly related to beach infrastructure. The game will feature 30 houses in American and European styles, 6 special buildings and several types of palm trees.

With the release of the Beach Properties DLC, Cities Skylines 2 will feature an in-game editor for creating modifications.

Using the Paradox Mods platform, gamers will be able to find interesting mods and share them with each other.

Mods can be combined into sets, saved in your library, and later the developers will add other options.

When We Can Expect It

DLC and support for modifications will appear in Cities Skylines 2 on the 25th of March.

Buyers of Waterfronts Expansion Pass and Ultimate Edition will get the add-on for free.
