27 thousand players will finally learn their lessons after being banned from Call of Duty for using cheats

Cheaters, nobody likes cheaters. And even cheaters hate cheaters. You come home after work, want to play your favourite game for a couple of hours, and a 13-year-old "e-sportsman" who bought an illegal program for $10 runs against you and thinks he's a hero. There are people like this in every popular online game, and Call of Duty is no exception. And no matter how one feels about Activision, the company is fortunately actively fighting against such players.

Here's What We Know

Last weekend alone (7-8 April), the RICOCHET system in Call of Duty Warzone and Modern Warfare III identified 27 thousand accounts that used cheats. What awaited all these people? That's right, an instant ban.

The team is currently working on a new set of security updates and expects more waves of bans to come.
