Chinese scientists claim that 6G mobile communication can have a positive effect on brain biology

Chinese scientists have concluded that terahertz (0.3-3 THz) radiation in 6equipment can have a positive effect on brain biology.

What we know

The study was conducted on mice. When the rodents were exposed to pulsed radiation of 10 μW with a frequency of 0.3-3 THz, the growth rate of neurons increased almost 2.5-fold. In addition, the total length of connections between neurons increased by 100% within three days. Although this sounds a little scary, no abnormalities were found in the molecular analysis.

Chinese scientists have found that low-dose irradiation provokes increased activity and production of various proteins, including GluN1, GluA1 and SY-28. These in turn provoke neuronal growth in mice because the frequency of hydrogen bond oscillations in the proteins falls in the range of 0.3 to 3 THz.

Researchers tested 90-mVT radiation on rodents. When exposed to the young mice for 20 minutes a day for three weeks, the number of new brain cells increased significantly. As a result, the rodents began to learn skills more quickly compared to older mice that were not exposed to the radiation. Interestingly, even after the older mice were exposed to 90-mW radiation, their learning ability was not improved.

Scientists must now determine safe parameters for sixth-generation cellular communications. The launch is scheduled for 2030. In addition, the study could help study the use of radiation to treat diseases of the nervous system.
