As expected, SpaceX was able to set a new record for the number of satellites put into orbit in a single flight. One of the satellites was developed in Ukraine.

Here's What We Know

A Falcon 9 rocket lifted off from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at about 6 p.m. (EET) on January 3 at Cape Canaveral. The Transporter-6 mission sent 114 satellites into space. The first stage returned to Earth and landed at the Landing Zone 1 site at Cape Canaveral.

On board Falcon 9 there was found a place for the Ukrainian nanosatellite PolyITAN-HP-30. It was developed for the 30th anniversary of Ukrainian independence with funding from the Ministry of Education and Science. After its deployment in the orbit, the satellite will be engaged in the task of determining the efficiency of thermal tubes of the thermal stabilization system of the spacecraft, as the working conditions in space are very different from the earth ones.
