Sony Xperia 1 V with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and 52MP camera goes on sale in the US for $1400
Sony announced the flagship Xperia 1 V smartphone the day before. Initially the company only announced the price in Europe, but now the US price is also known.
Here's What We Know
The Sony Xperia 1 V is already available for pre-order and sales will start at the end of next month. The modification with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage is priced at $1400 in the US. For comparison, in the Eurozone the novelty is priced at €1399 ($1525), and in the UK at £1299 ($1625).
The next-generation flagship is equipped with a main camera based on a multi-layer Exmor T sensor with 52 MP resolution. Compared to the sensor used in the Xperia 1 IV, it is 70% larger. The ultra-wide-angle module and telephoto lens each have a resolution of 12MP. You can see some photo examples below.
The Sony Xperia 1 V has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, a 5000mAh battery and an OLED display with a resolution of 3840 x 1644 pixels. The screen is 6.5" diagonal and has a 120Hz refresh rate.
