Google Docs has a new feature: documents can now be listened to in audio format using Gemini AI. Users can choose voice and speed, and access is limited to English and desktop versions for now.

OpenAI is removing the standard ChatGPT voice from 9 September. It will be replaced by Advanced Voice, which is faster and more expressive, but many people consider it cold and lacking "soul".
