According to Insider Gaming, EA will hold the first closed testing of the Battlefield Labs programme on 7 March 2025.

DICE has confirmed that the Battlefield Portal mode, first introduced in Battlefield 2042, will return in the next instalment of the franchise. This mode allows players to create their own game scenarios by combining maps, weapons, and vehicles from different eras of the series.
