A witty comic book game where you can literally "punch through" the boundaries between pages, characters lose their colour instead of their health, and the main character has a lot of B-rated jokes in his arsenal.
Take a mixture of Half-Life 1's aesthetics and shooting mechanics, Lethal Company's multiplayer chaos, Phasmophobia's horror atmosphere, and the general style of the X-Files and the late 90s, and you get the Ukrainian game BEYONDER by SoFarSoFun, which was announced at the Ukrainian Games Festival 2024.
Usually, add-ons allow players to stay in their favourite game for a few more hours and explore something new. However, sometimes developers approach the creation of DLC with such enthusiasm that they can compete with full-fledged games in terms of quality and quantity of content. Sometimes, however, there is so much new content in an expansion that it is worthy of a separate game that can be sold at full price (greetings to the Poles from CD Projekt).
