Everyone who pre-ordered Assassin's Creed Shadows will get the DLC for free

Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot and HR Director Marie Deren have been formally subpoenaed in the case of former company executives accused of sexist and racist behaviour. The trial is scheduled to begin on 2 June 2025.

Once upon a time, in the early stages of its history as a developer and publisher, Ubisoft was known mostly for Rayman, not Assassin's Creed, Far Cry or Rainbow Six. This quirky character quickly won the hearts of fans after his debut in 1995, spawning a whole series of platformers and several spin-offs.

There's a lot of new content in the game

Ubisoft has officially confirmed the first large-scale collaboration for Assassin's Creed Shadows - a crossover with the popular co-op survival horror game Dead by Daylight. A special quest called Step into The Fog will be available on 27 May.

Ubisoft has announced the postponement of several of its biggest games, including Assassin's Creed, Far Cry, Rainbow Six, The Division, and Ghost Recon.

The start date and cast are not yet known.

Ubisoft can celebrate: Assassin's Creed Shadows not only met expectations but also surpassed the key indicators of the previous hits in the series. The new title has already generated the second highest revenue on the launch day among all games in the franchise.

The first step of the partnership was the exclusive DLC for Just Dance 2025, available only to Visa cardholders in the UK and Europe.

Ubisoft has announced a major update 1.0.4 for Assassin's Creed Shadows, which will be available on 6 May on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC and Mac.
