Defense Technologies Engineering and Trade Inc. has delivered TOGAN drones for the Turkish army.
What we know
TOGAN is a reconnaissance-level unmanned aerial vehicle. The quadcopter has a unique flight control system and software that allows for mission planning.
The new drones are focused on reconnaissance, surveillance and artillery fire correction. Separately, TOGAN drones have an autopilot mode available.
The quadcopter is equipped with an electric propulsion system, due to which it can reach a speed of up to 72 km/h. The maximum flight time of TOGAN is 45 minutes. The unmanned aerial vehicle can be 10 km away from the operator. It takes only 1 minute to deploy the drone.
