Draganfly sent drones to Ukraine for demining
Ukrainian sappers received unmanned drones from Draganfly to help clear mined areas.

Drones of the Canadian manufacturer are equipped with special sensors that are used to draw maps of the area where mines can be located. The drones are capable of carrying different types of payloads, including radars, several types of cameras and magnetometers.
Draganfly drones support artificial intelligence algorithms. This is needed to distinguish plastic debris from mines that use non-metallic materials, as magnetometers do not work in this situation. At the same time, the company notes that due to machine learning with each new mission the drones will become smarter and will be able to detect mines more effectively.
The drawback of Draganfly drones is that they cannot dig out mines themselves. That's a job that would have to be done by the bomb squad. But there are robotic devices for this purpose, which will not endanger the lives of specialists. For example, Nova Posta began developing such robots, and back in June, Ukraine received TALON robots from QinetiQ-NA.
