Ukrainian "Tractor Troops" Capture Russian MT-LB Armored Personnel Carrier
There has been no news about the work of Ukraine's "Tractor Troops" for a long time, and now they have made themselves known.
What we know
They delivered another trophy to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The tractor troops were able to capture a Russian MT-LB armored personnel carrier. Note that another such armored personnel carrier was seized in Sumy region by the Territorial Defense Forces in the spring. It has now been handed over to the Armed Forces in the Kherson administration.
The MT-LB is a Soviet combat vehicle designed to transport cargo and personnel. Very often the APC is used as an artillery tractor, although it is not designed for it.

The MT-LB has steel armor and is equipped with a 7.62mm machine gun. The armored personnel carrier can move afloat at a speed of about 6 km/h. It is equipped with a 240 horsepower engine. Maximum road speed is about 60 km/h and range is 500 km.
