Ukraine pledged not to use HIMARS to attack Russian territory
Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov has been the star of the information space in recent days. He managed to give a number of interviews to Ukrainian and foreign publications.
What we know
In an interview with BBC the defense minister said that Ukraine will not use American multiple rocket launchers HIMARS and other high-precision weapons to attack facilities that are on the territory of the Russian Federation.
"That's true, I'm not hiding it. We have made a commitment that we will not use high-precision weapons on Russian facilities on Russian Federation territory. We have shown this everywhere, even I personally made it in a letter to my colleague - the head of the Pentagon - that we will use American weapons to deter the enemy and de-occupy temporarily occupied lands only on the territory of Ukraine," Oleksiy Reznikov
Naturally, the journalist immediately asked about the Crimean peninsula. Reznikov replied that the head of the Pentagon had asked the same question. The Ukrainian Defense Minister replied that we have enough strategic facilities in the occupied territories. To this, Lloyd Austin said: "We got you."
