The russian Ministry of Defense claimed to have destroyed the HIMARS loader, which actually does not exist
The Russian Defense Ministry once again "destroyed" the HIMARS multiple rocket launcher. But this time together with the transport and loading vehicle. However, there is a nuance.
What we know
According to the defense department, the American multiple rocket launcher was destroyed from the territory of Donetsk region. Along with it it was possible to eliminate the transport and loading vehicle. Everything would have been fine, if not for one "but".
The fact is that there is no transport and loader vehicle for the HIMARS. For reloading, there is a retractable console equipped with an electric winch. It can be operated either from the combat vehicle's cockpit or from a remote console. The transport and launch container is brought to the horizontal position, after which the console slides out. To lift the container an electric winch is used.
