What is known
Actually, BMP-1 is a Soviet infantry fighting vehicle on a tracked chassis, but in this case we are talking about the vehicles that were transferred by Poland. According to Defence24, the Armed Forces of Ukraine received 40 units of BMP-1, i.e. battalion set.

This infantry fighting vehicle is a good way to quickly make up for losses in armored vehicles. Although the BMP-1 is inferior in some technical parameters to the upgraded versions of the BMP-1AS Basurmanin, which are in service with the Russian army.
