At a security forum in Aspen, a White House spokesman said that Ukraine will not receive missiles with a range of 300 km for HIMARS rocket launchers
What is known
Jake Sullivan, advisor to President Joe Biden, stated that the United States is not ready to supply Ukraine with some means. These include ATACMSmissiles that can hit targets up to 300 kilometers away.
According to Sullivan, the U.S. has two objectives. The priority is to support and protect Ukraine. At the same time, the U.S. is concerned that the war on the territory of Ukraine has not escalated into World War III.
Recall that on the evening of July 22, Joe Biden approved the transfer to Ukraine of 580 barrage munitions Phoenix Ghost and five multiple rocket launchers HIMARS. The new $270 million military aid package also includes anti-tank weapons and artillery shells.
