The "Nettle" combat system helped tankers destroy three armored vehicles - the Russians did not even realize what had happened
The Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed three infantry fighting vehicles of the Russian army with a surprise strike.
What we know
On the website of the news agency ArmyInfrom a story of a serviceman "Balu", a platoon commander of a separate tank brigade named after Konstantin Pestushka, was published. Ukrainian tankers could not identify the enemy infantry fighting vehicles, which were well camouflaged and fired from fortified positions.
As soon as the Ukrainian defenders began to attack the enemy, the Russians immediately called in reinforcements in the form of artillery. The "Krapiva" combat control system helped solve the problem. Tankers received tablets with software in the first days of the full-scale invasion and are now actively using the system on the battlefield.
The advantage of the "Krapiva" is that the enemy does not see the tanks or hear the sounds of gunfire, but simply receives "flaming greetings" from Ukrainian soldiers. The main task is to detect the enemy. An unmanned aerial vehicle is used for this purpose.
The Russians used three BMP-3s with 100 mm cannons to block the movement of Ukrainian tankers, so destroying the combat vehicles was the main task. The drone operator was able to detect all three positions, after which the military struck from the tanks. As a result, the BMP-3s were destroyed, and the Russian soldiers did not even realize what had happened or who had fired at them.
