The richest man in Ukraine donated 150 DJI Mavic 3 Fly More Combo quadcopters to the Armed Forces

DJI Mavic 3 is one of the most popular civilian drones used by the AFU. Metinvest company has handed over 150 of them.

What we know

The press service notes that the new quadcopters will allow the Ukrainian army to fight the enemy in the northern and eastern directions. The manufacturer purchased 20 drones for the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense. Another 130 quadcopters were handed over to the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

DJI Mavic 3 is equipped with a camera based on CMOS sensor optical format 4/3 ", with 2MP resolution. The camera supports 4K UHD at 120 FPS, and there is zoom lens with 28x optical-digital zoom installed beside it.

The quadcopter got a battery that allows it to stay in the air for 46 minutes, which is one and a half times more than the second-generation drone. The range of the OcuSync 3+ is 15 km. The drone can transmit Full HD video at 60 FPS to a smartphone or remote control.

On the official website we see the image from which it is clear that Metinvest company has purchased the Fly More Combo. The official price is $2999, which means that 150 units cost almost $450,000. The delivery kit contains ND filters, two extra batteries, a charging capacitor, a bag and four sets of screws. There is also a simple version of the DJI Mavic 3 for $2199 and a modification of the Cine Premium Combo for $4999 with ProRes support and RC Pro remote control.
