Ukrainian soldier destroyed Orlan-10 drone from a distance of 3 km with Stinger MANPADS (video)
Another Olran-10 drone of the Russian army completed its mission in Ukraine thanks to the American Stinger MANPADS.
What we know
A soldier of the 93rd separate mechanized brigade destroyed an unmanned aerial vehicle with a portable anti-aircraft missile system near the town of Izyum, Kharkiv region. Before the drone was shot down, the missile flew 3 km. At the same time, the maximum launch range is 4.5 km.

The FIM-92 Stinger is an American MANPADS whose development was completed in 1977. General Dynamics tested the first sample in 1973, and the U.S. Army armed the missile systems in 1981. The cost of one MANPADS is about $70,000.
