Defense Minister Arvydas Anusauskas wrote on Twitter that as part of this package Lithuania will transfer two Mi-8 helicopters, L-70 anti-aircraft guns and ammunition to Ukraine.
"I have some good news today from Lithuania to Ukraine. The Lithuanian new lethal support package for Ukraine consists of dozens of L-70 anti-aircraft guns, ammunition and two Mi-8 helicopters", the head of the Ministry of Defense said.
According to him, the total cost of the military aid package is about 125 million euros.

The Bofors L70 is an automatic anti-aircraft gun developed in Sweden by Bofors company, based on the Bofors L60 gun, which was actively used in various countries during the Second World War. Mi-8 is the most mass-produced twin-engine helicopter in the world and is also one of the most mass-produced helicopters in aviation history. It is widely used in many countries around the world for a variety of civilian and military missions.
