It's official: Canada will transfer 200 modern Roshel Senator armored vehicles to Ukraine
Canada is preparing a new military aid package for Ukraine.
Here's What We Know
It was announced by Canadian Defense Minister Anita Anand during her visit to Ukraine. The new package will include 200 modern armored Senator vehicles worth approximately $90,000,000 Canadian dollars. It is not yet known when supplies of the vehicles will begin. By the way, at the beginning of the full-scale war Canada transferred 8 such armored vehicles to Ukraine.
We've heard it clearly: Ukraine's Armed Forces appreciate the manoeuvrability, durability, and agility of Canadian-made Roshel armoured vehicles. That's why we're sending 200 more of these armoured vehicles to Ukraine.

Flashback
The Senator is a new armoured vehicle from Canadian company Roshel Defense Solutions. Production of the vehicles began in 2019. The vehicle is based on the Ford F-Series commercial truck.
The Senator APC has a Ford 6.7 TD V8 engine with 400 horsepower, which provides a top speed of 110 km/h. The armored vehicle can be equipped with 7.62 mm or 12.7 mm machine guns, or 40 mm automatic grenade launcher. The vehicle accommodates 12 soldiers.
