The Ukrainian Armed Forces have seized many Russian tanks. One of them is the T-80UE-1. This is a very rare modification of the Soviet T-80 combat vehicle.
Here's What We Know
Last year we wrote about the capture of such a tank. According to Oryx analysts, the Armed Forces of Ukraine managed to take away at least four units of T-80UE-1 from the Russians and at least two more combat vehicles were destroyed.
A video was published this month that shows the T-80UE-1 in the hands of the Ukrainian Defence Forces. The tank entered service with a separate mechanised brigade along with the T-80. They are equipped with Relikt and Kontakt dynamic defence kits.
#Ukraine: What appears to be a very rare T-80UE-1 tank was abandoned by the Russian army in now UA-controlled Trostianets, #Sumy Oblast.

According to @kemal_115, this is the third tank of this type to be lost by the Russian forces in Ukraine.

The T-80UE-1 is nicknamed "showman" due to the fact that it often takes part in military shows and exhibitions. At such events, the tank can perform acrobatic stunts, but when it comes to real combat conditions, it is no different from other armoured vehicles.
In addition, the T-80UE-1 is called a "women's" tank. This is due to the fact that female crews took part in a Russian competition called tank biathlon.
