€1,700,000,000 contract: Slovakia buys 125 CV90 MkIV BMPs with 35mm guns from Sweden

Slovakia has signed a contract with Norway for the purchase of CV90 infantry fighting vehicles.
Here's What We Know
The information was shared by the Ministry of Defense of Slovakia. It is a question of 125 BMPs CV90 in the newest MkIV modification with 35mm cannons. The contract is for 1 700 000 000 euros. The first deliveries of BMP will begin in 2025. By the way, some of the infantry fighting vehicles are planned to be produced in Slovak facilities.
Flashback
The CV90 is a Sweden infantry fighting vehicle. It is developed since 1984 by the company Hägglunds, which belongs to the British BAE Systems. The first production of vehicles began in 1993. Since then, was released about 1170 BMP in different versions.
