TÜBİTAK releases flight computer for Turkey's fifth-generation TF-X fighter
The Turkish company TÜBİTAK BİLGEM has produced an onboard computer for an advanced Turkish fighter jet and handed it over to the customer.

Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) has received the flight computer that will be installed on the TF-X aircraft. The device will process encrypted data from different communication channels.

The onboard computer will be connected to a radar station which was developed by Aselsan. The device will be able to control the fire control system, noise cancellation system and laser warning system.
The other day we wrote that TAI will produce the first fifth-generation fighter in 2028, and from 2029 the company wants to produce two aircraft per month. The TF-X will be equipped with two F110 engines from General Electric. It has produced nearly 3,000 turbofan engines that have been used in the U.S. F-14 Tomcat, F-15E Strike Eagle and F-16 Fighting Falcon fighters.
