Germany transfers to Ukraine additional IRIS T-SLM air defence systems and other weapons worth €1.3bn

Germany, following the USA, has announced a new military aid package for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Here's What We Know

The package was announced by the German Defence Minister during his visit to Ukraine on November 21.

The list includes four additional IRIS T-SLM air defence systems. In addition, Ukraine will also receive 20,000 artillery ammunition of 155 mm calibre, anti-tank mines and other weapons.

Weapons deliveries are to begin shortly.
