ASUS ROG Magic 16 2022: 16-inch 165Hz screen, 12th Gen Intel chip and Wi-Fi 6e support for $1575
ASUS unveiled its new gaming laptop in China ROG Magic 16 2022.
What is known
As the name implies, the new product is the successor to last year's ROG Magic 16. The laptop received a 16-inch display with a resolution of 2560 × 1600 pixels, an aspect ratio of 16:10, a picture refresh rate of 165 Hz, 100% coverage of DCI-P3, a brightness of 500 nits and support for Dolby Vision.
The 12th generation Intel Core processor is responsible for the performance of the novelty. We are talking about a 14-core Intel Core i7-12700H chip. It is paired with NVIDIA RTX 3060 graphics. In addition, the ASUS ROG Magic 16 2022 received two coolers, 16 GB of DDR5-4800 RAM and a 512 GB M.2 PCIe 4.0 SSD.
The laptop supports Wi-Fi 6e and comes with six speakers, as well as USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type C (DisplayPort 1.4), HDMI 2.0b, RJ45 ports and a headphone jack. The device is powered by a 90 Wh battery. It supports 100W charging.
Price and when to expect
ASUS ROG Magic 16 2022 has already started selling in China. The issue price is $1575.
