87 Xiaomi, Redmi and POCO smartphones receive stable MIUI 13 firmware

The MIUI 13 firmware was announced at the end of 2021. Three months later, Xiaomi began to actively send out the update outside of China, and the software is already available for almost a hundred smartphones.

A few weeks ago we wrote that 84 models in different regions have acquired MIUI 13 firmware. In a little over three weeks of May, the total number of devices has already increased to 87. In addition, some models during this time managed to get a more up-to-date version of the software with fresh security patches. All changes compared to the previous list are highlighted in bold in the table.

MIUI 13, depending on the smartphone, can be built on the basis of the Android 11 (R) or Android 12 (S) operating system. The main feature of the new revision of the software is to increase the stability and speed of work. According to the manufacturer, all regular programs now work faster due to the introduction of deep software optimization.

Of the innovations, it is worth noting widgets in the style of iOS. And we are talking not only about the calendar, weather, music player, etc. familiar to all windows. MIUI 13 has widgets, for example, to remind you to drink water. Also in the new version of the software, attention was paid to security, adding protection against phishing in SMS and calls, blocking the installation of dangerous programs and the ability to insert a watermark into documents and pictures.
