Analytical agency Canalys published a report on the study of the smartphone market in the first quarter of this year.

The company continues to lead Samsung. Its share remained at the level of 35%, but deliveries fell from 16.1 million to 14.6 million smartphones. Apple, having shipped 8.9 million devices compared to 8.8 million in the first quarter of 2021, rose to second place. The share increased from 19 to 21%.

And here is the company Xiaomi experienced a drop in sales. She finished the first quarter of this year in third place. The Chinese manufacturer controls 20% of the market. Shipments in comparison with last year fell immediately by 22% - from 10.5 million to 8.2 million.

The brand was the best in the European market in terms of growth realme. It was able to increase supplies by more than 2.5 times (+177%). But in physical terms, this is only 1.3 million smartphones. With a share of 5%, the company was in fourth place, and closed the top 5 OPPO (4%).

The European market in the first quarter of 2022 sank by 10%. The main reason was the war in Ukraine. In total, 41.7 million smart phones were delivered in Europe in the first three months of the new year. A year earlier - 46.4 million.
